the current going rate per acre of arable farm land in my area is £16000 and grazing land is around £6000 it’s very easy to meet the tax threshold also a lot of farmers are tenants so what happens

Farmers are not cash in bank millionaires. Their assets are of high value but they need these for agriculture, it doesn’t reflect what they earn. They work 24/7 to try and make a living.
