in my experience the dealership would not close on time if they have a deal. I have been in the dealership until like 2 am to close a sale.

They aren’t losing money due to being closed on Sunday. That customer who wanted to buy a car on Sunday will just come back during the week or on Saturday. Not hard to figure out
