@thatmoneymum: I used to think tracking my spending would mean losing my freedom. BUT after an expensive weekend celebrating my sons birthday I feel more free than ever. I am sitting here adding every expense knowing that we can afford it and we budgeted for it. In the past I would have hidden it away and pretended it didn’t happen. “We’ll start again next fortnight” is what my husband and I used to say to each other. But then the next fortnight there was something else.
