Incase you are out there wondering if your hustling is worth it in these tough times, let my story be a sign. below are the pictures from 2018 October when I first introduced Afro_bae I only made 20 units and it took me two weeks to sell them. Second picture two months later I made 150 units for first time (the biggest quantity) I made these at night because I was still a mine work then so I would knock off and start working on Afro bae, I did my own deliveries and on weekends I would set up a stand and sell. In good days I would sell 5 sets in one day 😊. In 2019 May I would took a leap and resigned from my job to focus on Afro bae and relocated to Eastern Cape, the most scariest decisions I have ever taken. I mean I had nothing in my name building myself a two rooms flat in the village was the biggest dream I couldn’t even afford. 2020 was our year of the biggest breakthrough (sending out 700 units everyday) and more employees got hired, opened a beautiful unique model of salon and more people ( it failed though due to break and damaged property) which caused a very huge set back I even got sick I lost over R150 000 on that project, but life goes on. Fast forward to 4 years later I am here, still pushing it’s a very difficult road, you win and lose along away. You get motivated and some days you don’t feel like carry on. You get very busy days and very slow days. You get days when everything is moving smoothly and some days where nothing goes right. Ulale uphinde uvuke uthathe amandla uqalise. So if you feel tired don’t quit just take a break uthathise kwakhona. To everyone who believed in my brand thank you, Afro bae is still standing because of your support I appreciate you all so much. The shares, likes and comments you all made a difference. For more info on how to become a distributor please send a WhatsApp 071 088 7442. #womeninbusiness #tiktoksouthafrica #BlackTikTok
