i’m engaged and ppl are still weird when i call my mother in law that bc “we’re not married” but what else do i call her??? “my fiancée’s mom” is too many words sometimes lol

I also call my MIL my MIL in English even tho we aren't married lol my 1st language is French and in French we do have a word for MIL that works whether you're married or not... So idk just easier 😂

When I moved to Sweden over 20 years ago - we started a potluck friendsgiving. We extended to Halloween and Easter egg hunts when we had kids and until our families got too big.
