Check the fine print, most pet insurances reimburse after the fact but also check your local vets and see if they offer payment plans or healthcare plans of their own.

I would check to see which one is best out of pocket or insurance. at the same time how often are you going to be needing to take them in to the vet.

Little late but vet here: they may see that as a pre-existing condition so it won’t be covered. Recommend getting insurance early on. Also $400 for a dental is crazy low

Check local Vet programs at places like Midwestern University. It’s usually discounted and they have real vets overseeing the pet care.

no need really, I have 12 cats and don't need it. you will have to bring them cuse shit does happen, but more than likely u wont need it. Just hav a good savings account 😺👌🏾

How old is your cat? Most cats I wouldn’t get insurance for. I have it for my dog but his breed is known for medical issues and eating random things.

It’s good to have it and not need than to need it and not have it. BUT if you cat is problematic then I recommend the insurance. If they are not then don’t worry about it. That’s my take.

If you get the insurance when they are kittens, it MIGHT be covered. BUT... if your cats are older, chances are the insurance will NOT cover anything.
