I was brainwashed into thinking I was a part of a ‘family’ - but really, it was a cult, the support was minimal, their ethics were questionable and they paid one of the worst wages I’ve ever seen. From walking away - I promised myself I’d never let myself be roped into the ‘we’re a family’ culture.
