@certified_gmo: Ive lived in Singapore for many years and from my first week here i noticed that the idea of small talk doesn’t really exist, not much chit chatting with neighbors or a passerby. I understand there’s a fine line between bothering someone and being friendly, but i think its nice to ask people how they’re doing every once in awhile. In the US i think its too far to the other extreme, sometimes people are too loud or imposing. If im on the MRT here its really nice and peaceful, compared to NYC where you might have people screaming or fighting 😅, i suppose its a balance. Before anyone attacks me in the comments i love SG and im grateful to be here, its an observation not a complaint ✌🏻 #singapore #singaporetiktok
