Some drs/nurses are amazing however I remember when one of the senior partners (dr) asked me how long I’d been a hypochondriac!!! I literally cried on the spot 😳

I always remind myself that GPs are given training in all areas but maybe not as in depth when you are a specialist doctor such as a dermatologist so she probably just wants further confirmation from a doctor who has in depth studied this sort of thing. Same thing happened to me and the dermatologist also confirmed my mole was fine.

Trust me they would have urgently referred you if they were even a teeny bit worried. I’m a medic myself and I take no chances. You really don’t need to worry lovely xxx
