@bordernerd: The big day is almost here—Shrimp is about to be adopted! He’s been adoption-pending for a while, but due to some logistical and scheduling challenges, we had to wait a little longer. His new mom and I have been in regular contact to prepare both him and his new home for this special moment. Shrimp has had his final vet check, received a new collar, and has a new carrier from his mom—he’s ready to go! I also sent his mom Shrimp’s bed and pillow so his new siblings can get familiar with his scent before he arrives. Everyone who meets Shrimp falls in love with him. He’s one of the sweetest and silliest kittens and sometimes reminds me of GB when he was a baby—though Shrimp might be a little less mischievous than GB was! My husband and I are sure his new mom will fall in love with him too. 💙
