We were turned away last year but the sweet bellman whispered, come back after 10:00pm. We did and got in!!

We were denied entry last week, I immediately went on online and made reservations for the Palm court, they have a $99 pp prefixed menu dinner for small bites. Most of hotel is blocked off though.

You can visit, but it depends on the time of day if they allow non guests to enter. Went there two days ago around noon and they let no one in. But yesterday around 9am i had no problem getting in.

we tried to get in but the door man told the people outside who wants to get in that we need reservation or a guest @ a hotel. they told us its not a museum, its a hotel (a bit disappointed)
