Sometimes we feel things irrationally and get frustrated. Ma'am, I just googled the bobbit worm and that's nightmare fuel. I can totally understand how that would alter your feelings about the tank.

I don't know the industry at all but it seems really sweet that a competitor would reach out to help!

As soon as you said disappear, I knew it. There was a guy that had this happen a couple years ago. I had never heard of a bobbit worm until this happened to him.

Worked at a large aquarium and this happened in a tank and they had to set up cameras for a MONTH before they realized it was a bobbit worm.

Do I own aquariums? No. Did I watch this in its entirety and then need more answers? Yes.

oh GOD I've never heard of a bobbit worm being in an aquarium. They were already so scary but the fact that it managed to remain unseen for that long 😰

every bobbit worm story feels like a psychological thriller to me. they are so terrifying, and the sheer panic and despair they inflict is powerful!

Please forgive my lack of knowledge, how do you not find a 4ft creature sooner? Is it a tank size thing, or the creature is just that good?

That’s a big step to take especially with that large of a system, but I would never get over the paranoia if that happened to me either. That’s totally worth it.

I didn’t even have bobbit worms, my x brought home lakefish and it killed and ate all of my albino oscars. Now I’m sitting looking at my 150g and 75g freshwater tanks just struggling to want to…

Sorry that you had to go through this, I can tell you actually cared about the fish by the way you’ve been impacted, hoping the restart works!

You’re the most transparent person I’ve ever seen 😅 You always talk about the stuff no one else will. You talk about the good, bad and the ugly with no second thoughts. I admire that about ! 😎👍🏻

Your feelings are sooo valid. It makes sense that years of loss have impacted you. It sounds like a reset would be helpful! Now I’m nervously going to click on that link to see the nightmare worm.
