Dude yes people are so clueless. Once u realize the median household income is around 80k, and that’s most likely 2 incomes, it really puts things into perspective.

I’m a software engineer, and I made $45k out of college 😅 it got bumped up to $55k then $60k pretty quick, but I was just happy to have a job. 6 years later I’m at $145k and I’m definitely blessed

$100k isn’t a low salary but cost of living has ballooned. add in student loan payments, car payments, rent, any health issues, etc. $100k doesn’t feel like it stretches as far as it should
