I try to always peel them, I like to stick them in a little scrap book cuz they're so pretty. people don't send as many letters nowadays, let alone ones with wax seals

In the 60s, I always broke the seal. It was cooler than trying to finesse the seal off, even on the cheap paper I could afford in college.
