honestly , it’s own flavor is very subtle. Very subtle earthy tones , all I really notice is the texture. Not much taste if that’s what’s drawing y’all away. But the texture is CRUNCHY.

Best way to describe it is really the texture over the taste since it soaks in what ever it’s put into. I guess one could describe it as slightly earthy

it’s more of a texture wise thing. it has sort of a crunchy texture. it also depends on what u put it in. i put it in my hot pots and i love it, so usually mine is tomato flavored from the broth.

it’s my favorite, it’s more about the texture than the taste for me— springy without being spongey, has a little bite to it, and a subtle earthy flavor— but it’s not too mushroomy if that makes sense
