I pond of cocoa butter and mango butter. I cup of coconut, jojoba 1/2 cup of caster oil. 1/3 of bottle of Vitamin e 1/3 of bottle of rosehip. Oil. Sweet orange, frankincense oil and bourbon oil.

I did something similar but my base was beef tallow and castor oil olive oil and beeswax, rosehip and vitamin e! that did wonders to mt face!

Try with Beef Tallow instead of the shea or mango butter. I feel it will keep it from getting too stiff.

mango butter mixed with shea butter or cocoa butter is better. 😊. It must be the butters or oils you're buying. That makes a weird smell. I melt shea weekly.

Be careful w/ citrus EO as it can make skin more sensitive to sunlight, but it doesn’t look like you used a lot. I also love putting mica in mine for a little sparkle! Never used castor, I’ll try it!

If I used shea butter instead of mango butter, wouldn't the odd smell you mentioned be masked by the essential oils and other oils you add in too?
