Movies were better when the studios could take risks on films that would make 1/2 the money in the box office & 1/2 in DVD sales. Streaming killed that. Hence, no 90’s caliber movies anymore.

The year I was born was the year that movies peaked! Up until 2015, movies were being made with originality in mind, now they're just basing the new movies on the success of the previous ones!
