whoa!!!! I'm super curious to see this! reminds me of the saabs I used to work on a while ago, everything was driven off the back of the engine.... but with actual belts!!!! 😳

had to replace both cams on mine. it's definitely a known issue with the V10, but it's related to the same issue that effects all PD engines from this era. it's just a way bigger project on these 😅

With pressed cam lobes and sprockets, you say there's problems with VW camshafts? Say it 'aint so! German engineering should be a big red warning sticker right in the middle of the steering wheel.

Camshafts on early tdis doesnt have more camshaft-wear than usual, if they have proper oil. Thats just my experience.
