It's still better than the exorbitant costs in the US! And while we have plenty of doctors to choose from, they're expensive and insurance may decide not to cover much if at all!

Free healthcare doesnt mean hood healthcare automatically. 7 years in Germany, not a single good experience or diagnostic. The german dentist wanted to take my tooth out, the croatian dentist saved it in one visit (the molar, so mind the depth of it). So much money from Krankenkasse but still have to pay in my country.
