I keep the brush in my trunk - snow gets into the trunk but not in the seats.

Put the brush on passenger or back door. That way if snow gets in it isn’t on drivers seat

Brush it off with my mitt or sleeves. Then use the snow brush to sweep any snow out if it fell in :)
