@conniesweets: Apple Pie 6-8 Granny Smith apples peeled in sliced 1 cup of brown sugar 2 teaspoon of cinnamon 1/3 cup of butter cut up 1 tablespoon Corn starch 1 tablespoon Water Over the stove on medium heat put the butter apple, brown sugar, and cinnamon and allow cool for 4-5 minutes. You’ll notice the apples were being out a lot of liquid. Then you’re gonna make this slurry which is the corn starch in the water mix that in a bowl and then pour that into the apple mixture over the stove mix it until it thickens up if it doesn’t then you might need a little bit more to just add to it. Once it thickens up, let it cool down and start rolling out your pie crust. The recipe is already on my page, step-by-step. Make sure you poke with a fork at the bottom of the crust then pour the apple filling right in you could cover up the top or you can do a lace however, way you like and then do an egg wash right on top and place it in the oven at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes. Crust 2 1/2 cup of flour 1/2 cup butter chilled and dice 1 teaspoon of sugar 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup ice cold water And your food processor mix your flower sugar and salt then start pulsing and half of your butter once that butter is gone you add in the rest of the butter you’ll notice that the flower starts to get flaky keep pulsing. Then you’re going to pulse in your water do not mix and continue to mix that is wrong once I everything has come together you’ll notice the flour is flaky.
