Baked potatoes topped with canned soup is also a great low cost and filling idea. Clam chowder is my favorite but broccoli cheese or beef stew are also awesome

they have a pulled pork packet ( like the tuna packets) for a 1.50 at Walmart. I put that on a B.P w/ cheese. super cheap meal

Best of both worlds for baked potatoes, start them in the microwave, then finish them in the oven. way less time and you still get the crispy browning.

We literally make baked potatoes with BBQ chicken, cheese and ranch regularly (two days ago in fact!) I like to add roasted broccoli too for some “health”

My mom grew her own potatoes so she used them like most people use rice. Possibilities are endless and way more nutrients in potatoes than rice. 🥰👍
