Why most people fail at fitness? You're making it too hard. That's it. That's all there is to it. You're making it too hard. And you're making it too hard because you're comparing what you're doing to what you see other people doing. And most of those people have been on their fitness journey for years if not decades longer than you have. So you don't feel good enough about yourself going for a 10 minute walk. Or right now I'm doing just some easy biking on a stationary bike out in my driveway in the sun. Nice and easy zone two training. No big deal. I'm not making it too hard. This is what I want to do today. Now for you this might be too much. A 10 minute walk might not be too much. Going for a 10 minute walk. And then being in your yard and just doing a little bit of stretching. That might feel good for you. If you can make that consistent over time, you're going to get far better results. Then try and do something incredibly difficult for a day or two or three or five. And then being so exhausted you can't continue falling off the bandwagon and then never getting back to it. And then you start stop, start, stop, stop. Never finding momentum, never finding consistency. So if you're struggling to find consistency in your fitness programming because you're making things too hard, you have to meet yourself where you are. And for some people that start with simple walks, leisurely walks, not speed walking, things that are nice and easy, things that you can find consistency with over time, things that you can do every day. Don't go out and try to be David Goggins. You're going to set yourself up for failure.#weightloss #bodyimage #metabolism
