@weddingprocass: Replying to @wigglebuttbandanas I would’ve asked for a helicopter to drop me in. There is no way I would’ve made it up the mountain either lol #weddinghottake #weddingopinion #weddingthought #weddingplanningtips #weddingplanningtip #weddingtiktok #weddingplanner #weddingplanning #weddingplanningadvice #weddingguidance #2024bride #2025bride #2026bride
What are your thoughts on guests having to move chairs from the ceremony to the reception? This happened at a wedding I attended and I was not a fan.

If the family is used to hiking that’s one thing. Otherwise, have it in a park or a mtn you can drive up if people can’t hike and the couple really wants them there. That’s not cool. Or even a short

My friend asked people to wear formal dress in the middle of the Rockies wherein we all had to walk a mile down an unkempt trail, then camp with them with no facilities whatsoever 😂

My sister runs Marathons one of the 1st things I told her when she started wedding planning was: We are not doing any sort of distance running or hiking to your wedding 😅

Another absolutely not for you: a couple friends of my mom’s are going to a wedding this weekend. They were told to bring a iron and ironing board to iron the linens the day before

I have friends who have led 5, 10, 12 mile runs; days at the lake (where the men drank too much & got sun burned); surf lessons replete w scrapes, etc. Ah, adventure types 😂

I didn’t realize until wedding day that there was one step going into the reception venue. Then one of my guest (my grandma who traveled 5 hours just to be there) showed up in a wheelchair

We had people who couldn’t make it because the lawn wasn’t entirely flat and they had mobility issues. I wish I had thought of that ahead of time. Totally got it.

My cousin was married (in summer) on top of a mountain, but it was ski resort, and we all rode a chair lift to the top and back down again.

When my brother got married, he made sure our mom would be able to get around okay. She has medical issues, him and my sister in law didn’t want to push it

I love, love hiking. I live at 643 elevation. My kids declared long ago they don’t like it and I would never make ANYONE do something they don’t like.

I had a cousin do a hike AFTER his wedding. And not everyone had to join if they couldn’t. Makes way more sense
