Should you go to Sunday Roast in 2024? For me disappointed was an understatement 💔 I was supposed to be at the “happiest place on earth” 😭 This was my first time attending one of my cities most popular events ‘Sunday Roast’ in Johannesburg 🇿🇦 so of course I had high hopes but unfortunately they were shattered 😩 The video looks more fun than we actually had which we even forced ourselves to have because of the price we paid for the tickets 🥲 (which were such a hassle to get online btw). What hurt me the most was the lack of variety of food stalls (there were only two to choose from) and the music selection 😣 (which could also be a personal bias) but truthfully I was bored 90% of the time, however I did appreciate that the prices were not over inflated, the venue was not packed so lines moved quickly, using the bathroom was a breeze, although there were only 2 food stalls at least they chose them well bc the food was amazing! and I loved the choice of venue 😍🤌🏽 Would I go back though? Honestly idk maybe if it was free 😂 or with a different DJ or in another city 🏙️ I haven’t completely written the event off but I wish I had a better experience than I did.
