That’s include a citizen’s arrest from all those countries even if their leader don’t implement the order

Penny Wong needs to step down. She’s embarrassing us. I doubt he’ll get arrested unless his people hand him over. But he will now be eternally tied with other war criminals. He sits next to the likes of Hitler in history now. Ironic hey. The warrant does put pressure on all ICC countries to not continue to fund this war.

At the conclusion of WWII, the Nazi perpetrators were swiftly heard and sentenced. Why is this any different? What is taking so long for the ICC or ICJ to arrest them?

Salvador Medialdea, the former Executive Secretary and a member of former President Rodrigo Duterte's counsel, said Duterte’s arrest is a “pure and simple kidnapping.”
Salvador Medialdea, the former Executive Secretary and a member of former President Rodrigo Duterte's counsel, said Duterte’s arrest is a “pure and simple kidnapping.” "He was summarily transported to The Hague. To lawyers it’s extrajudicial rendition. For less legal minds it’s pure and simple kidnapping," Medialdea said. The former executive secretary also requested that former President Duterte's appearance be moved to next week so that he could inform the latter of the cases against him, but the request was denied. With Medialdea's motion, Presiding Judge Iulia Motoc said, "There will be a full procedure that will unfurl leading up to the confirmation of charges that will enable Mr. Duterte to raise all the matters that you have just raised with regard to the warrant of arrest, with regard to the crimes committed, with regard to the charges and any other matters associated with his arrest and the matters of jurisdiction of the court." "You have the opportunity to do this throughout these proceedings leading up to the actual confirmation of charges hearing," she added. The former President Duterte attended his first court hearing at the International Criminal Court via video link in The Hague on Friday, where he faces murder allegations stemming from his deadly "war on drugs". Motoc set a date of September 23, 2025 for the next stage of the process, a hearing to confirm the charges when prosecutors can present part of their evidence and judges decide what charges can be in the indictment. #GMAIntegratedNews
