Sometimes, the things we think we want are just reflections of external expectations + who we currently are—not who we’re becoming!💫 Anytime I didn’t get what I thought I wanted I eventually realized either: - I got what I needed instead. - I was made for something bigger & better. - I was being led to a deeper understanding of what I truly desire and deserve. - I was being divinely guided to forgotten desires that ended up fulfilled in unexpected ways. - I was being protected from something I couldn’t see in the moment. One of the things I do with clients in session when it comes to developing a relationship with their spirit team and God/Source/Creator/the Universe is evidence-seeking; looking for ways the divine has already shown up for them and supported their journey. Even when it doesn’t look like it in the moment—because divinity also lies in not getting what you thought you wanted. Try it for yourself with these journal prompts: - Reflect on a time when you didn’t get what you thought you wanted. How did it lead to something greater or more meaningful. - In what ways has a disappointment been divine intervention and/protection? - What signs or synchronicities have appeared after you didn’t get what you thought you wanted?
