Hot honey chicken sandwich 😮‍💨🍯🌶️  Ingredients: 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs  1 cup buttermilk/1 cup whole milk+2 tbs white vinegar  ¾ cup + ⅓ cup hot sauce 1 egg 1 cup all purpose flour  2 tbs cornstarch  1.5 tbs salt/seasoning of choice  3 tsp black pepper  2 tsp garlic powder  2 tsp onion powder  2 tsp smoked paprika  2 tsp dried oregano  ½ cup green cabbage, thinly cut ½ cup red cabbage, thinly cut ¼ cup olive oil  2 tbs white vinegar  2 tbs lemon juice  2 tbs sugar  113g/1 stick unsalted butter  6 brioche buns Pickles Ranch/Mayonnaise  Steps: 1. Mix buttermilk with ¾ cup hot sauce and egg. If using milk and vinegar let them sit in a bowl for 5 minutes first.  2. Add chicken, cover and marinate for 3-6 hours.  3. Mix flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, garlic and onion powder, paprika and oregano and set aside.  4. In a separate bowl mix the cabbage with olive oil, vinegar, lemon juice and sugar and set aside.  5. Dredge chicken and coat in seasoned flour then coat with the marinade and coat again with seasoned flour.  6. Set chicken on a tray and heat oil to 157C/324F.  7. Fry chicken for 7 minutes then set aside and heat oil to 190C/374F.  8. Fry chicken for 3 more minutes.  9. Add butter, honey, remaining hot sauce and a sprinkle of garlic powder to a pan then bring to a boil.  10. Glaze the chicken with the hot honey.  11.
