@greenlanemosque: 🌟 Islamic Upbringing is Crucial 🌟 We often wake our children up for school but not for Fajr, teaching them the world’s priorities over the priorities of the deen. Setting our children on a path without a strong foundation in Islam is setting them up for a life of confusion. Academic and career success is valuable, but it should never come at the expense of our faith. Without an Islamic upbringing (Tarbiyah), even basic family rights can be misunderstood. Allah has commanded us to respect our parents, regardless of worldly disputes, and He will ask us about these bonds. Raising our children with knowledge of their duties to Allah and the rights within our families is essential. Teach them: Allah comes first.
