ありがとう is arigatou and not arigato, so it should sound with "tou" not "to".

I was taught that emphasis and rise on the "to" was considered Osaka dialect. The other example given was reflective of Tokyo dialect.

people forget the う at the end of ありがとう, which should help you lift the tone at the end (well that's the way I remember) or you could always do the とてもセンキュー 🤷🏻♀️
