The former ghost town of Bussana Vecchia, Italy🇮🇹 Let us tell you about out recent trip to Bussana Vecchia – it was seriously one for the books 👻 A bit of history. The village experienced a devastating earthquake in 1894 which forced citizens to leave. The village then was a ghost town for 60 years until a group of artists moved there. They've embraced the whole ghost-town aesthetic and turned these ruined places into makeshift studios. Today, the village itself has a totally different vibe. The buildings are all rundown and kinda spooky, which honestly gave us mixed feelings. The village is known for its art, but that art was like something out of a horror movie. Some of those installations and paintings seriously gave us the creeps. It's like they were going for a dark and eerie vibe, and they definitely succeeded. Imagine walking around these narrow streets and stumbling upon these unsettling artworks – it was definitely a unique experience. The whole time we were there, we couldn't shake off this feeling of unease. It was like the village had its own dark secrets, but that's what made it so different and intriguing. All in all, Bussana Vecchia was like stepping into a twisted art dimension. It might not have been the most pleasant atmosphere, and the art was a bit on the scary side, but it sure left a lasting impression. So yeah, an unusual trip, but definitely one to remember! #italy #ghostvillage #ghosttown #liguria #travel #travelphotography #travelitaly #travelblogger #explore #visititaly
