Calcium and magnesium use the same receptors. Can only take one or the other. If you supplement calcium it’ll block magnesium absorption. In turn not help Vitamin D absorption.

Take the vitamin from Costco, perfect blend of Vit D, Magnesium, Calcium, Vit A. Taking just Vit D gave me horrible headaches, and it was due to my Magnesium/Calcium being out of wack.

When checking Vit D and/or calcium, please have your PTH levels. That’s parathyroid hormones. Which are 4 tiny glands behind your thyroid that control the level of calcium in your blood.

You need D3, K2, calcium and magnesium. But not all magnesium are the same. Magnesium helps with zinc levels.

Incorrect. You have to take vitamin D3 with magnesium and K2. K2 is what keeps calcium out of soft tissue.
