My parents were. I was born a conservative. I started questioning/discussing politics at 6 years old. We never changed each other’s minds but they shifted more right as they aged. It didn’t divide us

My father, unfortunately. My grandma knew which party provided her with the services she needed to be able to raise three kids when her husband left. Her son thinks other people don’t deserve those same services. Fortunately, his daughters disagree.

Sadly, from a few of the comments, an exception seems to be when a woman raised a liberal marries a conservative man…then they convert to conservative Christianianty. It’s the Patriarchy at play.

I’m currently more conservative then liberal and come from liberal parents. I don’t think I’ve changed though, modern republicans are closer to liberals from 20-30 years ago (before woke and pro war)

conservative parents send their kids to college, where liberals are made. Liberal parents teach there kids liberal ideals and then send them to college to further indoctrinate them.
