Pretty sure it’s the call whistle that the people of the flower feather clan use to call thier birds— her gun is apparently call activated and goes away when she whistles again :)

did you not do the tribal quest? her tribe calls on saurians by whistling, and her gun is supposed to be a saurian stand-in.
