Challenging the Impossible: Keeping Three Rare Marine Creatures Alive! 🐠 Dive into my latest aquarium adventure! Today, I welcomed three notoriously difficult marine creatures into my tank: the Feather Star, the Golden-winged Fire Qilin, and the Colorful Frogfish - also known as the Picasso of the sea. Few have succeeded in keeping these species alive, but I'm ready to take on the challenge! First, following international best practices, I acclimated them to the water temperature. My previous success with reintroducing a desalinized yellowfin pompano back into seawater has me feeling confident - their condition is absolutely impeccable. 🌟 Feather Star: Often mistaken for a plant, this fascinating animal moves its claws independently. Typically used as a decorative piece in marine tanks, their delicate arms usually fall off over time. But my tank is connected to a private ocean system with a large, stable water volume, increasing the chances of survival. To my surprise, a symbiotic crab - a true armored warrior - was hiding inside, which is even more valuable than the Feather Star itself. An unexpected bonus! 🔥 Golden-winged Fire Qilin: Many hardcore enthusiasts attempt to keep this elusive creature. Once introduced, it hides so well that you don't know if it's alive or dead. Then one day, perhaps years later, it might suddenly appear before you - or you might just remember you once bought it! 🐸 Colorful Frogfish (Picasso of the Sea): This sea frog is a masterpiece in motion. Why isn't it called Beethoven? Maybe because their homes are different! Both the Colorful Frogfish and the Golden-winged Fire Qilin feed on microorganisms and tiny sea worms, making it extremely challenging to get them to accept regular feed. The larger the water volume, the higher their survival rate. So, I decided to move them to the neighboring tank with rocks, which harbors more worms - better suited for their dietary needs. 🏠 They've just settled into their new home and already have to move again - poor things! If I moved as often as they do, my 200-pound girlfriend might just hang me up for a beating! Even the frogfish looks puffed up in protest. But unlike the others, one of them seems much more at ease. This gravel-filled tank is perfect - aside from a lone Nassarius snail, it's flawless.
