@rosegemshop: Sometimes a piece of rough far exceeds what you think it might be. I collected this piece at Spectrum mine in 2022. It was the last trip of the year for me, in October. I found a nice piece of bright red rough. There were these streaks of red and clear in a wispy pattern, I knew would be special if cut at the right angle. This is the result. A brilliant raspberry red stone with streaks of color and copper schiller, showing diagonally right across the table of this gorgeous pear shaped gem. This stone weighs 5.35ct and measures 15.8x9.6mm. It would make an amazing custom pendant, brooch or ring. Oregon Sunstone of this color retail for as much as $500/ct.
