I only paid $460 round trip from Charlotte to Tokyo on Delta Premium Select! Seats were originally $660 + I had a $200 flight credit. Then was able to upgrade seats for ~29k miles.

I mean thats sort of average spending ish. I spent like $3.5k my first trip, but I was there for 3 weeks instead and paid for like $500 in experiences like going to disney sea, universal, and ticket
