This is why Fury is such a good war movie, it doesn't romanticize it. Like athe scene a the Fury tank heading deeper into Germany running over a pancaked corpse on the road just reminded me of a description in Antony Beevor's Berlin, when Humanity is so lost that there are no longer emotional reactions.
