I do this with watercolor! Do a big flatwash as the unifying color. I guess I also mix it with my pallete colors? My shading color is actually either a dark shade of or complimentary to the flat wash

OMG! this helps so much because of my color preferences, dose it mess up the tips of the markers though? like would the dark color ink stain the tips of the light marker tips? [embarrassed]

OOOOOH! I LOVE DOING THIS WITH MY PEN! I usually put yellow over it to make it look more older or fantasy like, I just really like using cyan or yellow. TYYY

This is actually good tip because if you draw something and it's in a space with blue lighting and atmosphere, just draw everything normal colors and add a blue color over it
