same with horses 🙄. i knew a 30+ yo gelding that babysits weanlings. they tried to “retire” him from babysitting and he literally laid down and would not move until they gave him his babies back 😂

if a dog doesn't want to do something, you can't make them. my dog refused to go on any walk for 2 years because she'd rather sleep. she'd go up the street then turn around and head home.
