Mum of 6 from the U.K., would never dream of paper plates etc it’s something we don’t do. We have a dish washer 🤣 plus think of the environment use recyclable stuff if anything.

Using disposable paper items isn’t a trend in our country unless it’s for a kids party or something. It’s considered super wasteful and trash pickup is very limited with emphasis on recycling/organics

my apartment didn't come with a dishwasher. every house and apartment should come with one! i use paper plates when I can.

My problem is that those aren't paper plates, they're Styrofoam. Paper doesn't bother me at all, but Styrofoam is not recyclable and doesn't disintegrate without being highly polluting 😢
