I worked at the cs desk at Target the computer system syncs at the next day so we literally cant access the other stores sales until the next day. But you can always return for store credit.

Even still, you can only return up to $100 ever. You need a photo ID to perform the no receipt refund, so they keep track of you and how much you’ve returned without a receipt.

I have 6 Target stores within 30 min of my house. I never knew this was a thing! Good to know if I’m out running errands around town.

I’ve done similar with price correction when an item went on sale right after I bought it, they wouldn’t refund so I just returned and then rebought the same jacket for 40% off.

I work retail and our store is the same way. You can’t return same say in same store, but until we close our registers for the day and reopen the next day, our systems don’t push information over to
