🍓 Fluffy Strawberry-Filled Donuts 🍓 Dough: * 500 g all-purpose flour - 4 cups * 60 g granulated sugar - ¼ cup + 1 tbsp * 7 g instant dry yeast - 2¼ tsp * 190–200 ml lukewarm milk - ¾ cup + 1–2 tbsp * 2 large eggs * 60 g unsalted butter, softened - ¼ cup * 1 tsp vanilla extract * 1 pinch of salt Filling: * 250–300 g strawberry jam - about ¾–1 cup For frying: * neutral oil - 6–8 cups Instructions: 1. Mix the lukewarm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5–10 minutes. 2. Add the flour, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Knead for about 5 minutes, then gradually add the softened butter. Knead for another 5–7 minutes, until smooth, soft, and elastic. 3. Cover and let rise for 60–90 minutes, or until doubled in size. 4. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces (about 68–70 g each). Shape each piece into a smooth ball. 5. Cover and let rise again for 30–45 minutes. 6. Heat the oil to 170–175°C / 340–350°F. Fry each doughnut for about 2–3 minutes per side, until golden brown. 7. Drain on paper towels and let cool completely. 8. Fill a piping bag with strawberry jam. Make a small hole in the side of each doughnut and pipe in the jam. 9. Dust with powdered sugar or normal white sugar and enjoy! 🍓✨ #donuts #strawberry #Recipe #homebaking #baking
