where does it start the measurement from? the back of the tape measure? if it's the front and you put the tape measure against a wall, it'd be off the whole length of the tape measure body.

I’m a carpenter/framer and I honestly own this same exact measuring tape and I still always use my Stanley Fat Max. I haven’t used the laser one in almost a year.
