Would recommend putting the pin in a vise while it’s in the bracket next time. If you heat up that pin too much it will shoot out very fast and powerful.

take off the caliper bracket, put the caliper pin head in a vise, turn and pull, out it comes. Clean the pin on a wire wheel, regrease and reassemble.

Rust belt tech here…I always put bracket pin down on vice and smack it with a hammer, if you can shock the rust you’ll be able to wiggle it out, often times without using heat

Take off the rubber sleeve and toss it. Or order a pin that does not require it. The rubber swells over time and causes it to seize or cause uneven wear.

yeah I’ve done that but with an acetylene torch and an air hammer. shoulda seen the missile I sent across the shop.
