I think it has to be acknowledged that these meet ups traditionally cause chaos. I have worked at a place that has an annual traveller meet up and the security has a nightmare night every year

I once broke down with my young baby in the car and it was raining really badly and everyone drove past me except 3 traveler lads who helped me and let me use there phone to ring my mum ❤️❤️

I’ve worked in security and had a few issues with the community the younger ones. The parents came in and said sorry to me and the store and since then we had a brillant relationship.

A lovely group of travellers on train to London yesterday boys & girls who immediately stood up for my elderly friend to sit down. We spent hour talking on train they were going to winter wonderland.

one of my best friends is a traveller, and all the people I've met through him are lovely, and tbh I prefer spending time with him and his family. he's mad as a box of frogs, but an absolute legend.

I once did a food shop, forgot my bank card & didn’t have cash on me. My eldest was 2 at the time he’s now 24. A traveler man in the queue behind me paid for my whole shopping. 🥰

I go every year to the markets in manchester and every year big groups of travellers go. Every time i go they are pleasant, they are noce and even helped me one year by making a path for me and my kid
