@ben_yanes: If you’re going to make a leg press truly “quad-biased”, you need to get your feet low enough so that the majority of the force is shoving your shin to your butt (and not your knee to your face). If I choose a quad-biased lower body press, I’ll either do a low foot leg press (as demonstrated here) or a hack/smith squat, emphasizing the same principles discussed in the video. It’s important to remember that there isn’t a version of a linear leg press that doesn’t challenge the quads. So, if you’re confused about what to do, find a comfy foot position, and push the footplate with challenging loads until you can’t!
