I can tell you everyones story is different. My dog was older, my first baby amd i love her dearly. She did not take to our baby, got depressed and bit him when he started crawling. For everyones safety & quality of life my dad took my dog so she could still be with family but safely. She is living her best life and we still see her. It was the hardest thing i have ever done and i still have guilt over it.

I had to rehome mine as when me and my partner split I had 2 additional need kids already and I could only walk him between 10am and 2pm as was to much when thr kids were there and he was used to 3
