I have OCD. My 5 yr old daughter has an anxiety and panic disorder diagnosis and all the criteria for OCD but they try to wait to dx because it could be autism. Its so hard.

i literally struggled with so many different types of ocd growing up and still do. when i was younger i struggled so bad with the guilt and fear i was checking the house every night for spy cameras. like literally examining our eyes in pictures on the walls. i didn’t even know it was ocd until THIS YEAR. blamed my adhd my entire life. it’s awful

I hate how misunderstood OCD is. I’ll never get diagnosed because my family believes it’s just a funny quirk. They get bothered if things aren’t even, I would stay up late at night arguing with myself
