@r7.cam: I turned 20 at the end of september. This was my first birthday ive spent alome without them. They sent me this little cake since they live 12 hours away now. I lit the candle and watched it burn for a moment as a silent tear rolled down my cheek. I ate it alone, it tasted great, but the missing noise and bothering from my younget siblings and our big floppy dog made for a stark contrast to the joy i once associated with a birthday. I love my parents more then i could ever begin to properly express to them, theyve done everything for me. Moral of the story, enjoy your family while you have them close.
